I stayed in a hotel and got to the museum Sunday before it opened and there was already a line.

For the sketch above I used Pitt Pens that I learned about in the Don Colley day with NY Sketchers back in October. The sketch features one of my favorite paintings of all time - Goya's self portrait with Dr. Arrias, and shows a deep sense of compassion and caring on the part of his physician.

The Goya exhibit was absolutely fantastic and well worth the trip. Try to make it before January 19th!
Love the sketch you did from the stalled train...reportage at it's best. You used the white of the paper well to show the solitude of the woman trudging thru the snow. Looks like the museum was well worth the visit. Nice sketches from there.ReplyDelete
