b) Hart Crane live up the block at 45 Grove Street
c) 59 Grove St (bet Bleecker & 7th Ave) Marie's Crisis Cafe a unique West Village institution since 1850 is on the spot where Tom Paine died in 1809
4) The White Horse Tavern at 567 Hudson St - famous patrons include Dylan Thomas (this is where he had his last drink) Bob Dylan, Norman Mailer, Jim Morrison, Hunter S. Thompson, Stephen Gardner and many others
